They are made of materials used in industry: galvanized water pipes (such as the "pipe"), valves, various manometers and other measuring devices, gears and all mechanical assemblies, electrical material. The basic idea of such a design is to get a mechanical electronic device that associates with old (vintage) machines from the beginning of the industrial revolution (bulbs are therefore a replica of the first Edison bulbs). Of course, this "device" has no other purpose except that with its design, and with a mild light of Edison light bulbs, our living space is built up.Each lamp is unique, both for design and built-in materials. But we can also order a lamp that is in basic mechanical elements and design similar to one of the ponds already made.
