Vjenceslav Richter was born in Donja Drenava near St. Ivan Zelina in 1917, one of the most famous Croatian architects of the twentieth century. Graduated in 1949 by Architect Zdenko Strižić at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Zagreb.
In addition to architecture, he has also been active in other visual arts (sculpture, painting, graphics, and scenography) and left behind valuable works in these disciplines, and his contribution to theoretical research and art discussion is particularly significant.
